Learn Money Sense is a free, web-based Financial Capability curriculum developed for students and anyone wanting to learn how to maneuver through life with a better understanding of finances. This groundbreaking curriculum goes beyond basic financial knowledge (literacy) by providing participants with tools needed to make educated financial choices and positively influence financial behavior (capability). It is an integrated curriculum and is aligned to both the New Mexico Common Core Standards and the New Mexico College and Career Readiness Standards.

The curriculum, developed by Nusenda Credit Union, is based on an award-winning and research-based curriculum by the Casey Foundation, and is designed to ensure that participants gain the financial knowledge and skills needed to create financial plans, effectively manage their money, and become knowledgeable financial consumers. Nusenda worked in partnership with Advance New Mexico to develop Learn Money Sense, a multi-media curriculum based upon current learning theory and practice.
